CastGrabber™, the Ultimate Podcast Management Solution
Weeds Out Non-Working Podcasts for Seamless Listening
LAS VEGAS – January 8, 2009 CastGrabber, LLC, creator and manufacturer of specialized home electronics, will showcase CastGrabber at the 2009 International CES in the South Hall 4, meeting room 35975MP at the Las Vegas Convention Center. CastGrabber, the universal podcast management solution has substantially improved its handling of RSS feeds, currently a neglected practice.
Bad podcast feeds (RSS feeds) do not correctly download audio or video files and hence, users are unable to listen to podcasts. Several symptoms of poor feeds are hangs, podcasts that seem to start downloading but stops, generic errors, podcasts that will not download at all and errors connecting to the podcast hosts’ server. Because some RSS feeds are poorly constructed, many attempts to retrieve podcasts fail. CastGrabber software has improved to the point where many of these podcasts are now obtainable. Users will witness up to a 90% improvement in RSS feed handling.
CastGrabber has taken aim to correct this problem, as this practice is not a priority for other podcast solutions as it can be very time consuming and tedious. CastGrabber is currently the only dedicated device to offer seamless and universal podcast management. CastGrabber performs autonomously and without requiring the use of a PC.
“With more than 2.6 billion podcasts downloads in 2008 there is a tremendous need for a powerful podcast delivery solution that not only delivers podcasts, but eliminates issues before they reach the user’s MP3 player,” said John Hammer, President of CastGrabber. “CastGrabber is constantly working behind the scenes to make podcast listening as seamless and as enjoyable as possible.”
Podcast Popularity - 2.6 Billion Podcasts
